Divco/Matheson Constructors are the design-assist construction managers of a fully automated, multi-temperature distribution center and will feature Canada's largest Witron automated storage and retrieval system.
With four temperature cold storage environments, its also one of the largest multi-temperature cold storage distribution centres in Ontario, with:
- -20°F freezer (116,034 sq. ft.)
- +55°F fresh area (118,867 sq. ft.)
- +34°F perishable zone (354,529 sq. ft. with 85 ft steel height)
- Ambient area (+58–77°F)
The facility will house 249 loading docks for inbound and outbound logistics, managed by three satellite offices. A 47,139 sq. ft. office building will be attached to the ambient section, and truck drivers will have access to external washrooms.
