Code of Conduct
At Matheson, we’ve entrusted our team to use good judgment in their day-to-day activities, and have provided the framework to conduct themselves in an ethical, respectful and appropriate manner.
Everyone is expected to conduct themselves in an ethical, respectful and appropriate manner. We strive to protect the Company and Company Stakeholders from inappropriate, damaging or illegal actions committed either knowingly or unknowingly.
Ethical and appropriate conduct is expected in life, and in the Workplace. Matheson does not tolerate misconduct and immediately takes appropriate corrective or disciplinary actions when misconduct occurs.
Everyone at Matheson is equally expected to adhere to these principles:
- Conduct yourself in an ethical, respectful and appropriate manner.
- Understand and adhere to Company Policies.
- Understand and adhere to individual responsibilities outlined in the Health & Safety policy.
We all need to be respectful, ethical, lawful and professional always.
Matheson’s impeccable ethical practices are a cornerstone of our brand and reputation, and our people know they have a right to work in a comfortable environment free of inappropriate conduct. For these reasons, Off-Duty Misconduct is also not tolerated. Just because we’ve left the Workplace doesn’t mean we can do or say anything we want without consequences.
