This 37,000 SF facility provides older adults with an opportunity to live comfortably while staying connected to their community.
Completed in 15-months, our team facilitated all administration and construction phases of the project including design, budgets and cost estimates, value engineering, subtrade tenders as well as scheduling and site supervision. Diligence and attention to detail by our team were critical to ensure the multiple project financers were up-to-date and satisfied with cost-control and scheduling status during the entire project.
Construction of the wood-frame building features 32 living units built over four-storey’s plus a basement. The Centrealso houses social and entertainment spaces including a full commercial kitchen. The kitchen is used daily to prepare meals and is sufficiently equipped to serve larger social functions and special requests. A rental hall is available for residents to hold larger gatherings with their families and friends. Additionally, a foot-care clinic was constructed using state-of-the-art technology and sterile equipment.
Interior amenities were designed and constructed so that the residents could feel as if the spaces were their own. To achieve this, trade capabilities were heavily scrutinized and only those able to satisfy our quality expectations were selected. Commitment and cooperation of this talented construction team resulted in the expeditious turnover of the building and accelerated occupancy for its eager tenants.
