York Region Paramedic Station #27 is a 7,700 SF, LEED Silver-certified emergency response facility designed to support York Region Paramedic Services and the region’s growing demand for emergency care. Located in Markham, the new single-storey station features a three-bay drive-through ambulance garage and accommodates up to six ambulances, enabling 24/7 emergency response operations for the surrounding community.
Constructed on a greenfield site, the facility includes modern staff amenities such as offices, locker rooms, washrooms, a kitchen and lounge area, storage rooms, and essential utility spaces. Extensive site development included paved access routes, parking areas, landscaping, and multiple retaining walls designed to address the site's existing grades and integrate seamlessly with neighbouring properties. The project delivers a resilient, sustainable, and purpose-built environment that enhances frontline paramedic services in one of Ontario’s fastest-growing regions.
