McCrae Building – Phase 2

Delivered for Peterborough Housing Corporation, this six-storey residential development provides 85 market-rent, affordable, and supportive housing units in Peterborough, Ontario. Designed to address a range of community housing needs, the building includes dedicated supportive housing for seniors requiring 24/7 services, as well as units intended to assist individuals transitioning from acute care. Constructed adjacent to and connected with the occupied Phase 1 building, the project required careful coordination to seamlessly integrate the two facilities while maintaining ongoing operations. Matheson collaborated closely with the owner and design team to optimize design and construction solutions, helping deliver a cohesive and supportive residential community.
