Selig Sealing Warehouse Fitout

Selig Group is a global manufacturer of packaging solutions for food, beverage, chemical, and pharmaceutical containers. Matheson was selected to complete this fast‑track fit‑out of an existing warehouse located in Bradford, Ontario.

The project involved the interior demolition and build‑out of 65,000 sq.ft. of manufacturing, chemical mixing, and warehouse space, along with 2,100 sq.ft. of office space across two levels. Work also included site servicing, general site improvements, and reconfiguration of the building’s main entrance.

Unique construction elements included the installation of fabric ductwork, offering greater efficiency than conventional sheet metal systems through improved temperature distribution and air velocity, while reducing material and condensation issues. The chemical mixing rooms were equipped with Pop‑Up Flood Barriers, designed to automatically deploy and seal doorways to contain large spills.

Matheson provided value‑added engineering, scheduling, and budgeting services throughout the project, contributing to its successful completion.
