The York Region Transit (YRT) Bus Operations and Maintenance Facility Expansion project is located at 55 Orlando Avenue in Richmond Hill, Ontario. This expansion involves a major addition to the existing bus storage facility originally constructed in 2015, in order to accommodate an additional 153 sixty-foot buses.
In addition to accommodating the storage of buses, the new expansion will also feature a roof top parking structure to meet the required parking for facility staff. The existing facility and operations will remain fully operational throughout the construction phase of this project, requiring a phased construction approach.
