The Sagamok Anishnawbek First Nation Community Building is taking shape as a new place for the community to gather, connect, and celebrate. Matheson is providing construction management services for this 16,000 sq. ft. facility, bringing together two event halls, council chambers, a commercial kitchen, and office space. Close collaboration with the community and project partners is guiding construction, helping ensure the finished building reflects the needs of the people who will use it.
From site clearing, excavation, and foundations to building systems and interior finishes, our team is coordinating each stage of construction. Through careful planning and collaboration with our trade partners, Matheson is creating a lasting gathering place for Sagamok Anishnawbek.
