Orangeville Water Pollution Control Plant Digestor Refurbishment

Project Details

Client: Town of Orangeville
Location: Orangeville, Ontario
Building Type: Infrastructure
Contract: Lump Sum

The Town of Orangeville Sewage Plant was in long need of refurbishment for their anaerobic digestor, which had been out of commission for several years after the roof had lifted and allowed biosolids to escape. Matheson was selected to perform the removal and disposal of the existing floating roof which had bubbled, along with the disposal of the existing mixing system and components. Our team then repaired the concrete structure and installed the new roof and mixing system followed by a TSSA inspection before recommissioning the long awaited digestor.
