The Manitoulin Hotel & Conference Centre (MHCC) was a new venture for the Indigenous communities of Manitoulin Island. Located on the shores of the North Channel on Lake Huron, this building features over 50 rooms, a 5,600 SF 300-person conference centre, an additional 1,600 SF of indoor and outdoor restaurants, and an outdoor swimming pool.

Construction features included a ground source heat exchange and many natural materials to compliment the surrounding area, this includes a large vaulted wood formed roof structure or teepee lobby area which celebrates Indigenous history and architecture.
