Our team completed our annual COR® Internal Audit—an important milestone that goes far beyond checking boxes.
The audit is an opportunity to take a close look at how our Occupational Health and Safety Management System is performing in the field, identify what’s working well, and uncover opportunities to improve. It reinforces that health and safety is a continuous process of planning, implementing, verifying, and improving.
Throughout the audit, we reviewed documentation, interviewed employees and supervisors, and verified that our programs are being effectively implemented across our operations. We were encouraged to see strong engagement from our teams and a genuine commitment to maintaining safe workplaces.
A successful internal audit isn’t measured by finding zero deficiencies—it’s measured by being honest, learning from the results, and taking meaningful action to strengthen our systems.
A sincere thank you to everyone who participated in interviews, provided documentation, and shared their knowledge and experience. Your involvement demonstrates that safety is a shared responsibility and that continuous improvement is part of our culture.
As we move forward, we’ll use the findings from this audit to enhance our programs, strengthen our processes, and continue building safer workplaces for everyone.
Safety isn’t a destination—it’s a commitment to protecting our people in any way we can.
